Animaniacs needs to be updated to episodes

Postby djbuddhaful » Mon Apr 15, 2019 4:28 pm

Hello there,

All seasons for Animaniacs iare listing each cartoon separately, although they were aired in multi-cartoon Episodes. For example, there should be 65 episodes in Season 1.

TVDB Page: https://www.thetvdb.com/series/animaniacs/

Source - iMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105941/ep ... t_eps_sn_1

The cartoons seem to show the air dates correctly, which should be one episode per air date.

We split animated show in general by episodes.

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4076

Multi-segment Episode Splitting:
This applies to cartoons only. When a cartoon has multiple story lines in a single episode the standard on this site is to enter each story as a separate episode. This is because it's quite common for networks to release them separately at some point. For those people wishing to still pull the information as single episodes with multiple story lines we ask that you fill in the DVD Order. The DVD Order can be used to combine multiple episodes into one episode so that you can choose to store your files either by story line or as complete episodes. Complaining about this long standing site rule will not get us to change it.

How can I set the DVD Order so that I can use this in Plex? It is using TVDB for its metadata, so the episodes are mislabelled. Worse case I will Manually update each "episode", but would love for it to grab the info automatically.

Try this method for Plex
Otherwise use MKVToolNix to split the files.
