Save the users language

Postby Lehmden1 » Fri May 18, 2018 9:49 am

Hi.
First I need to say I really like the new website. But I'm missing one thing that's driving me crazy while using the site.
As I'm no native English speaking person I prefer to see the data in my native language. The old site has stored my language (most likely in a cookie) and uses it automatically. With the new site this did not work any longer. Now every other mouse click I have to change the language. When opening the search it is set to English. I change it to German. When I have found my series it is displayed in English and I need to change the language. After entering a season it is displayed in English and I need to change the language. When viewing an episode it is displayed in English and I need to change the language. When viewing the next episode it is displayed in English and I have to change the language, and so on... Very nasty.
Hope this feature will be added soon.

This is planned as a relatively high priority feature.
Strangers are just the friends we haven't met yet.

I have seen several cases where users added the native title as english title, especially for shows that air outside english countries first.

(Also: Please localize the date or use ISO-format YYYY-MM-DD. Almost no country uses MM/DD/YYYY)
