Forum rules
All requests to modify unlocked entries - with the exception of series titles - will immediately be marked Resolved.

Please read our rules and our series-specific information before posting.
Please link to the series/episode page and your sources.
Wikipedia is a good starting point for searches, but it WILL NOT be considered a valid reason for requesting a change.

In addition the following items are not acceptable reasoning for a request: scene/torrent/fansub releases, sickbeard/couch potato/etc, re-airings in another country (or new channel), and once again wikipedia.

Note: Requests to unlock a series will be denied as all series locks are in place for a good reason. Please indicate which changes you are needing to see made and cite valid sources as mentioned above. Thank you

Stargate SG-1 episode listing mistake(s)

Postby 3ncy » Wed May 16, 2018 2:08 am

Hi,

There's a weird thing happening on my DS Video application when it comes to this series' season 1 of 21 episodes (with the pilot being actually 1h30 long) ;

I've tried to list episodes as S01E01 through S01E21, and though the DB is ok when it comes to episode numbers and names and synopsies, the images still include a two-part pilot. As such, episode 2 "The Enemy Within" has the supposedly 2nd part of "Children of the Gods" image, S01E03's image is actually "The Enemy Within (S01E02)"'s image and so on until the end of the season.

The same problem may apply on season 8, but I can't confirm it right now as files haven't been uploaded on my NAS yet, but I'll keep you posted.

Cheers

I've searched for others topics eventually mentionning this,

Forget I posted it that way, actually I only need a tutorial on how force DS Video to use DVD listing ;)

Thank you ;

The first episode is a combined episode of approx 90 min. If you have it as a single video file, then it should be numbered as follows:

Stargate SG-1 S01E01.1-01.2

That's for Kodi. Not familiar with DS Video and their conventions.
