[Numbering] Infrarouge (281487)

Postby superboy97 » Fri Dec 22, 2017 4:57 am

Show : https://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=281487&lid=17

"Infrarouge" is a documentary show airing on the French channel "France 2".

I haven't been able to find a complete list of the episodes of this show.
There are partial lists here :

As I didn't have the time to check all the episodes listed on these pages, I have just added the few episodes and I have numbered the episodes using the airing dates to avoid a complete renumbering each time an episode is added in the middle of the list. I have informed the users of this site here : viewtopic.php?f=86&t=39248&p=118376&hilit=infrarouge#p118376

Recently, while adding some new episodes to the list for 2017, another user (Claire2001) has renumber the incomplete 2017 listing 1, 2, 3, etc.

What should we do ?
Keep the lising as it is now and renumber the episodes each time one is added in the middle ?
Revert to a date numbering to avoid this problem ?

``I have numbered the episodes using the airing dates``
You can order them by airdate but DO NOT make their episode numbers be the airdate. You can put the air date in the correct field.
I understand why you thought to use the airdate as the episode number but it doesn't follow the rules.

Even if episodes get out of order in cases of Documentary series like this it is okay but can be cleared up later if it bothers someone.

Only season 2014 need to be renumbered 01, 02, 03, etc... (I did the other ones)

Moving to Members Helping Members as any user can renumber these.
