All completed requests go in here. This way we can clean our main forums, but still have this stuff show up in search.

Do you allow the posting of fan-art in standard definition? The wiki refers to 1080 and 720 sizes and specifically states not to increase the size of a smaller image to obtain those. My son loves a show, Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog, that does not have fan-art and he has asked me to fix that for him. We only receive the show in SD and as such can not create a 720 image.

I attempted to upload a SD image yesterday but it never showed up on-line, so I assume it is not allowed. Just looking for confirmation or suggestions.

The sizes listed are the only sizes we permit, attempts to upload an image of any other dimensions will result in failure. As for your own local media library depending on what software you're using, you can probably add the fanart locally if that's all you need.

I added two fanart images & a series poster for you. Best I could do though, as I don't have the show & good images are hard to find online. Enjoy.

And just as quickly, deleted. You're welcome to share those with him here on the forum, but you have been warned about image quality before so I know you know better.. I'm inclined to take a quick browse through all of your image contributions now.

I understand you meant well, but ignoring our rules to do so doesn't make it ok.

Photoshop can easily clean up cartoons without heavy shading. Ideally I should have masked out the background and given it a blur instead of just applying the posterization.

Thanks szsori for the tip. I don't have Photoshop but will have to practice my PSP skills. Yeah, I know, but it's all I've got on my PC.

Just keep practicing, the basic skills are all the same. The rest is just about how much time you're willing to spend on something (whilst not putting your job in jeopardy...)

A few teenie mistakes as I lost the PSD file (for the first one) and I can't start again but I actually enjoyed doing this one :)
