All Image Guidelines
  • The banner language should be set on upload to the language of the text on the banner.
  • Banners must be jpeg not bitmap, gif or png.
  • Each creator is limited to 3 banners per series and 3 banners per season (wide and DVD style combined).
  • Please make each banner unique and not simply the same images with different fonts. If clearly similar images are uploaded, an admin may choose to delete the superfluous images.
  • Make sure your images are of good quality. DO NOT upload blurry, pixelated or generally poor quality images.
  • While some series do contain nudity, please refrain from using such images.
  • Do not take another artists' banners to alter them slightly then re-upload them. Some artists have spent a good deal of time on the images they upload and it is not acceptable to alter their work without permission.
  • Banners are uploaded using the form on the page to which the banner corresponds. For example, if you have a series banner for Bones, then you upload it on its series page. If you have an episode image for My Name Is Earl Season 2, Episode 5, then you upload the image on that page.

Actors
  • Images should not be stretched in anyway, if you can't find high quality images that meet our requirements please leave it for someone else to fill in.
  • There should be no writting on the actor images.
  • Images should ideally be head shots or stay above the waist, full body shots are allowed but if possible we prefer no lower than the waist.
  • Images should show the actors in their roles. General actor images will be added later, for now we like each show to have images picked for that show.
  • Images must be 300x450
  • Images must take up the whole image space, bars on the sides or top are not allowed.
  • Must be in jpeg format
  • May not be over 100kB.

Episode Images
Episode images are small screenshots of each episode.
Here's The Breakdown of the system
  1. Images are limited to one per episode
  2. Images are limited to a maximum size of 400 x 300 (400x225 for 16:9 images)
  3. You can delete images you uploaded
  4. If an image by another user needs be replaced you will have to post a request in the forums for an admin to do so.
  5. Images should be uploaded in their original aspect ratio if the show is 16:9 then that should be the ratio of the image, even if your local network broadcast it in 4:3.
  6. Images should be an non-spoiler action shot from the episode not randomly generated so we just get a shot of a building or a street light.
  7. Images must be appropriate for viewing at a workplace. (i.e. NO NUDITY)
  8. Images shouldn't just be a title shot from the episode we already know the episode's name we don't need to see it again.

Adding Images
To add an episode image:
  1. Proceed to the episode page for which you have an image
  2. Locate your file by browse or entering the location directly
  3. Click Upload

Deleting Banners
You can delete banners that you have created. When you are logged in you will see the option to delete banners, underneath the ones you have created.

Fan Art
  • Images must be exactly 1920x1080 or 1280x720.
  • 1920x1080 images must be 800KB or less.
  • 1280x720 images must be 600KB or less.
  • Images should not be resized to get to the correct resolution. If they are too big they should be cropped, if they are too small they either shouldn't be used or should be used to make composites. Badly resized images will be deleted.
  • If you include a series name you must indicate that it is included using the drop downs provided. Fanarts with names included should be readable when viewing the thumbnail.
  • The language field does not matter unless you include the series name.
  • Do not include extra text on the images.
  • Do not include borders in the images, or take a poster and just add a solid background to it to make it into a fanart. Your image should take up the full image space.
  • Do not include any masks, they can be applied automaticly, don't assume you know where the menus will go. Diffrent skins and programs use the images in diffrent ways.
  • Don't upload a 720 image if a 1080 version of that image already exsists, programs can resize the larger version if they need a 720 version of it.
  • If a 720 version exsists and you upload a 1080 version of the same image please delete the smaller version (or ask a mod to delete it in the forums).
  • Each fanart should be unique. Please don't upload the same fanart many times with minor differences such as slightly diffrent zoom, angles, posses, diffrent colour letters or a minor extra image pasted over top, etc...
  • Make sure you are uploading the image to the correct show. Some shows do have duplicate or similar names and mistakes do happen so double check before you upload.

Posters
  • Images must be 680x1000
  • Images should include the series name
  • Images should not be stretched or resized to get to the needed resolution
  • Images must be a jpg
  • Images must be less than 500KB

Season Banners
DVD Cover style season images
  • Images must be 400 x 578
  • Try to make the season designation obvious enough to read without being gaudy
  • We very much understand that for some series decent images are very difficult to come by and so repetition of images may be necessary. But if this is necessary try to make each season a bit different like these so that it is a bit more obvious what season you are looking at.
