InuYasha: German episode titles have changed

Postby CommonPonyComputer » Thu May 23, 2019 2:26 pm

The series of InuYasha has been incomplete in germany for a long time. They just released the episodes 105-193 a couple of months ago. The episode titles which are listed in thetvdb are fan made.

https://www.thetvdb.com/series/inuyasha/seasons/4

You can see the new official episode titles here:
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/InuYasha/Episodenliste

In thetvdb the episodes I mean start with season 4, episode 23
In wikipedia the episodes start with episode 105 (absolute).

I know that wikipedia is not your prefered source but I own those new InuYasha blurays and the episode titles which are listed there are correct. If you dont trust me look for another source.

Can you take a picture of the titles on the BR menu or the box set, or link to a product page that lists at least some of these titles?

Ok, I validated that the titles are different.
Unfortunately this site is geoblocked to me making access difficult, so if you could post the translations following the suggested format and the TVDB episode order, updating the translations will be more efficient.

So you mean like this?

Season 4

#23
Die Rache der legendären Krieger

Code: Select all

Overview

#24
Kagome, Miroku und Sango: Eine ausweglose Situation!

Code: Select all

Overview

...

Dont know what is meant by overview

Btw this auto logout every 2 minutes really fucks me up. Its the second time I have to write my post again

Autologout? We don´t have something like that. The Problem is on your Site...

Yeah your Format is correct. The Overview is just for a Plot of the Episode itself. You don´t need to copy that when you don´t have anything.

I´ve checked the Anime by myself and it will be more Work to fix all that. So maybe you will save your Work and wait till the new Site is online. It will allow us to unlock the Translations Area for Example and then you can update the Information by yourself.

Okay
I noticed the same issue in Sword Art Online (fan titles instead of official titles).
When will the new site be online?

I found more series with wrong episode titles.
You said that the site will be updated. Is there a news link where the new site will be published?

All we can tell you about the new site (and hope for) is soon. If you want us to start work before that, whenever it happens, you can post as I suggested before. If you don't have an overview to write, don't write one.
If you are getting an auto log out, I would suggest writing out your post in a document editing program before posting to prevent your work being scrapped.
Additional troubleshooting is possible but I can't really help you there as I don't know much, it might be related to your browser's cookie settings. Try a different web browser.
