The new site supports any language with an ISO code, so this should be supported.

There's not a firm release date set, but indications are that we will be seeing an open beta this month, likely in the next week or two.

Looks like the new site is not fixing this problem.
The new site use ISO 639-2 "zho" for Chinese, but what we need is the country code. A show in China (zh-CN), Taiwan (zh-TW), Hong Kong (zh-HK), and Singapore (zh-SG) may have different names, just like pt-PT and pt-BR, "zho" or "por" simply won't work.

I doubt we're going to do that. We don't do it with any languages, even English can be different between British and American and we don't support both. It would get really messy if we start having multiples of each language. That said the site can support it so it's more of a question of what the general community wants. For now it's no but if that proves to be the less popular opinion things could change.
Please don't PM me. Post in the forums instead unless there is a very good reason for a PM or I won't respond.

One thing is the language is a bit different like the American and the British and like the portuguese of portugal and the portuguese of brazil, but the British titles are the same as the americans, something that does not happen in portuguese, the titles of the series are Completely different, so it exists in several sites pt-PT and pt-BR, until the TMDb has, just take a look and see that the titles are different.

Offtopic: It would also be nice to add TMDb ID

Thanks

You can simply start with a 2-letter language code ("zh", "pt") for the main languages, with the possibility to extend into 5-letter language-country code ("zh-TW", "pt-BR"), then add matching algorithm to return data depends on which language user is request.

Here is similar case that Windows selects UI resources:
Windows prioritizes matching of languages in a standard well-understood way. For example, en-US matches, in priority order, en-US, en, en-GB, and so forth.

* Windows does cross regional matching. For example, en-US matches en-US, then en, and then en-*.
* Windows has additional data for affinity matching within a region, such as the primary region for a language. For example, fr-FR is a better match for fr-BE than is fr-CA.
