Someone seems to have created 2 seasons numbered 2013 and 2014 for Lego Star Wars (http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=250498&lid=7)

I'm assuming that these aren't valid.

It's even worse than you think. There are two more entries:

LEGO Star Wars - The Yoda Chronicles

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Brick Saga So Far

Most things are duplicated, in between those three entries.

I was just looking and even the series description is a bag of hurt ... someone has copy and pasted some LEGO promotional material for the LEGO Star Wars range rather than it being text to do with the TV movies.

If I may, I'd suggest text along the lines of...

Code: Select all

LEGO Star Wars is a series of TV Movies telling stories from the Star Wars universe using the distinctive characters from the world of LEGO and the animation style of the LEGO Star Wars computer games.

Starting in 2005; the first film "Revenge of the Brick" was created to coincide with the theatrical release of Revenge of the Sith.

In a more general sense, LEGO Star Wars is a LEGO theme that incorporates the Star Wars saga. The first LEGO Star Wars, released in 1999, included model 7140, the first LEGO X-Wing. Star Wars was the 23rd intellectual property to be licensed in LEGO Group history. The first few sets based on the original trilogy were released in 1999, coinciding with the release of The Phantom Menace. Sets based on the prequel trilogy (Episodes I to III) of Star Wars would follow, starting with Episode I. As each new film in the prequel trilogy neared its release date, LEGO issued new models of ships and scenes in those films, as well as additional sets from the original trilogy. LEGO also produced models based on The Clone Wars, which was released early in 2008.

Combining information from various sources including Wikipedia - yes I know thats not considered a correct source; IMDB, CartoonNetwork.com and LEGO.com there appears to be the following "main" episodes...

  • Lego Star Wars: Revenge of the Brick
  • Lego Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2
  • Lego Star Wars: Bombad Bounty
  • Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menace - July 22, 2011 (30 mins)
  • Lego Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out - September 26, 2012 (20 mins)
  • The Yoda Chronicles: The Phantom Clone - May 29, 2013 (22 mins)
  • The Yoda Chronicles: Menace of the Sith - September 4, 2013 (22 mins)
  • The Yoda Chronicles: Attack of the Jedi - November 27, 2013 (22 mins)

Anything else is a "Mini-Movie" which appears (at least to me) to be little more than an advert for Lego.
