This is an episode of another series in 3 parts, of the same name. There is confusion between the two series.
This requires creating a new page just for this series in 3 parts. :
=> http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&ser ... 434&lid=17
=> http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&ser ... 435&lid=17
=> http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&ser ... 436&lid=17
This is an independent film that has no connection with the two Dinotopia series. So it does not belong here :

Hey, I've just been trying to get this show organised in my collection. I agree this is a totally separate production, not a series of specials.
I tried to create a separate entry for the mini-series, but it just got deleted.
The 3 part TV mini-series is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinotopia_(miniseries)
The longer-lived TV full series is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinotopia_(TV_series)
Currently, the three-parter is incorrectly classified as a specials season of the other series, however they are separate productions.
I have no idea how to fix this, as every time I try, the mods delete it
Interestingly, TMDB does correctly classify the mini-series as a separate show: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/73536-din ... ini-series

Also, it looks like S00E04 "Quest for the Ruby Sunstone" is actually a film that just happens to reference a character from the three-part mini-series:

Probably cos you ignore the rules here that say WIKIPEDIA is not a valid source/evidence....

They used to be separate (miniseries had the ID of 353505).
The organisation of this isn't great either.
The mini-series came first in May.
The longer series in November.
