Could you be more specific?

As furby says, please provide details of which episodes you believe are missing. (I suspect this is due to the ordering we are using and none are missing)

[Unfortunately I'm a bit slow replying to stuff due to other commitments but if any are missing I'll get them added once details are provided]

IMHO the show airs in a sequence - this sequence includes revisited episodes. I know there was debate about this, but the method that TV rage has used is logical and fits with how people actually watch the show.

Happy to help out a re-orgnaise if needed.
I completely agree with the above. Also happy to help fix...

Ok, (again) The listings for this aren't going to change unless as senior mod/admin overrules me on this. All the decisions about the order were done before I became a mod so had the approval of the mods.
That said TV Rage do seem to have cleaned up their listings (not checked how well in detail) as they were very different before (See any one of the attachments in : http://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?p=26275#p26275 )

The listings will be staying as they are but as per this ( http://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?p=46228#p46228 ) post I'm happy to add the 'other' order to the DVD listings (as long as they don't clash with the existing ones) until either the new site is available or someone posts an actual dvd order (whichever comes first).

The main reason for what was done was (as mentioned previously) was the revisited episodes as to whether they should count as part of this series or a 'revisited' series similar to QI XL (And that C4 have a mix of half and half). Therefore we went with a method that allows the main listing to be unaffected by renumbering if we split the revisiteds out at a later date if/when C4 get their act together.

I've joined this board to voice my feedback in regards to Grand Designs listing on tvdb

I like to thank you for your efforts first, and I believe that the decision that you took may be correct at the time. However I do not believe it is correct now.

Going through all the database on this show online we have:
1) Channel 4 website - a complete mess, but they put revisit episode within the series
2) DVD - they do not have revisit episodes, but this is tvdb not dvddb
3) Everywhere else (tvrage, wiki, p2p network) is done via the air time
4) Original TV scheduling have revisit episodes in series with normal episodes

Putting revisit episodes at the end of previously seasons pollutes the data in a way that is not helpful to anybody other than people who is already stuck with this sorting system. We are adding new information to the database when it does not exist. To me there should only be two ways about it:
1) Put the revisit in the specials - I don't think this is the right way
2) Put the revisit as the air time in line with everywhere else. This is the definitive way when there is not other concrete or official data given from Channel 4. We know for certain once aired the listings can not change. We know we can rely on the weekly schedule that Channel 4 have on TV for a certain season. TVDB is a database of shows that aired on TV, not a database of the DVD or website of the TV station.

This current system affects normal episodes numbering already if they are between revisit episodes, so if you are certain on putting revisit in the same season as original, you may as well put the revisit right after the original episode. Hence I believe the best way to move forward now is to redo the listings in chronological order.

I understand this is a contentious series but unless an Admin/senior mod says otherwise it's staying as it is until we get the new site (no eta - but being developed currently), unless C4 sort out their listings. The new site will allow us to have multiple orders one of which for this show (unless we end up splitting them out into normal and revisited) will be the the 2nd order you've mentioned above

Fyi Channel 4 still list both series, but haven't looked for a while as to whether they've cleaned them up:
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/gran ... sode-guide
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/gran ... sode-guide

As has been said before the series is currently listed as it is so we can split them out to revisited if C4 sort out their listings without having to renumber all the episodes for some seasons.

I'll take a look at the C4 listings again when I get some the chance, but unless they are fixed then things will stay as they are.

As far as I can see, C4 has stopped trying to separate revisited series since series 4. Everything after series 4 have been inline with the normal episodes listings, although it is still a mess.

Therefore, TVDB is sticking to a system that not even C4 is following. So TVDB is using an unconventional ordering system that is not respected by anyone else.

Season 11 & 12 are incorrect...
They should match the links below...
The only difference being S11E13 & S11E14 are specials (which are already correct on tvdb)

I know you don't class Wikipedia as a valid source, but it's a great source for episode names for this program.

Series 1 DVD order change request

DVD order is not entered, it is the same order as the Aired order however. This is just to make the Grand Designs entries complete (a 12 page thread highlights the amount of confusion). Evidence is here: http://p.playserver1.com/ProductImages/ ... x500_2.jpg.

DVD Season #, DVD Episode # , Episode Name
1, 1.0, Newhaven: The Timber Frame Kit House
1, 2.0, Berkshire: English Barn
1, 3.0, Brighton: The Co-Operative Build
1, 4.0, Amersham: The Water Tower
1, 5.0, Suffolk: The Eco-House
1, 6.0, Cornwall: The Chapel
1, 7.0, Islington: The House of Straw
1, 8.0, Doncaster: The Glass House

Thanks
