As it seems to be the same people who consistently add incorrect info to BBC Documentaries I'm going to start also logging those I can resolve myself as they don't have episode images added.

Damilola, Our Loved Boy - Drama, added by richdruitt

Still can't get my head around why this is so complicated - the BBC actually state the programme genre on their pages!

Another one I've dealt with myself - logging to track regular problem users:
Rick Stein's Long Weekends - richdruitt added one episode of this series, reused episode

Sexy Murder re-added by subagon. This is a comedy, not a documentary. Added it to BBC Comedy.

A whole heap of mess at the moment:
Gordon Buchanan: Elephant Family & Me - Episode 1 & Episode 2 - Please delete both, has it's own series.
The Entire Universe = Delete, it's comedy - already listed on BBC Comedy
Flying Scotsman: Sounds from the Footplate - Delete, Already listed on premiere date in 2016
A Life on Screen Lenny Henry - Delete, already listed in A Life on Screen

There are also a number of blank episodes in 2016 season where duplicates, comedies & music were removed & then not reused before end of the year.

Can I suggest that this thread is renamed to BBC Documentaries, Comedy & Music as they are all have similar issues and it's often duplicates across them. On that basis a comedy one:
Victoria Wood: At It Again - Not a new BBC production, it's her show recorded for DVD shown on TV.

This is a different programme, hence the different name.

The absence or presence of a commentary track doesn't override unique footage, by our definitions. Is that the only difference between the two programmes?

That is the only difference between the two. Although to be fair to iufgweilgdsao it is listed as a different episode with different title by the BBC.

And another one:
Britain's Ancient Capital: Secrets of Orkney

Actually a 3 part series according to BBC website and already listed separately

I think I'll leave Flying Scotsman alone, as technically the host network counts those as two episodes, but I don't really have any standing to prevent its removal.
