I have those on my plan to watch but haven't gotten to them yet. I think the prequel movies could be set as Specials with "Air Before" flag set, and the sequel TV be season 2. Now whether you want to go with 6 episodes for the specials prequel movies TV version and join them together with DVD order as three movies or not well... I think that might work? Not sure though. Battlestar Galactica example.

In other news, Dances with the Dragons ain't happening this year. Wat do.

I've thought about Yuuki Yuuna on a brand new day with a brand new me and realized we'd still need a DVD Order 0 or something negative for it to make sense with the first season. Now I'm even more unsure of what to do.

@Mistywing DVD order doesn't have to match the timeline I think, just the release form.

Right you are. Seems the second me was defective ;) I guess we can use numbers superior to twelve to join the episodes together in movies in the specials then?

Or we do a Madoka and list both. Seems the current contributions are lining up for that.

Looks like Dies Irae started today, but it's being listed as 'Episode 0', someone made it Episode 0 on here as well for the time being.

No information on MAL yet.

This may be a complicated one as it looks like it will also have some online episodes integrated.

Addendum: AniDB is calling it episode 1, but links to Crunchyroll's Episode 0.

Episode 0's been pretty much declared against the rules here every time it's come up. There's 18 episodes total, from 0 to 17. Here we will count from 1 to 18.

Also I must insist again, the new Kino's Journey main title is incorrect or incomplete. The correct title is without a doubt:

Code: Select all

Kino's Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series

This is according to the official material in Japanese, the Crunchyroll title, MAL, ANN, etc.
You can add the (2017) after if you want to differentiate more. But it should not be needed since "the Animated Series" is the differentiation between it and the older one.

Source on Dies Irae doing 0-17 is BD BOX. There is no such thing as "Prologue" as MAL calls it and then another 18 episodes. If they do it that way they'll have to bring down the main entry to 17.

I'd trust CR over MAL any day considering they usually get information from the licensor.

My issue comes in if Episode 0 is treated as "Episode 1" in the listings. It isn't Episode 1, that airs tomorrow.
