Gundam now lists episodes 26-32 multiple times, someone added a second season...

Your first source says 第32話 or "Episode 32" right off the bat. From the OP:
Another telling fact is that the official sites for most of these split-cour series list the episodes as 1-24, further reinforcing that this was always a single "season" with a broadcast break midway through.

This show is pretty much the definition of split-cour, since like all main Gundam series it had 50 episodes greenlit from the get-go.

Same thing, the second cour was announced before the first even started: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=25066&p=104853&hilit=bungo#p104876
And like Gundam, this one too just kept numbering. 黒の時代 is not an OVA by the way, it's the multi-episode flashback that the fall season started off with.

It shouldn't matter if they choose to use absolute episode numbering or not. The fact is all official source material says that this series has 2 seasons.

Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-blooded Orphans also can not be split-cour by definition.

"One of the four conventional three-month periods of television broadcasting in Japan (January to March; April to June; July to September; October to December): "Noragami" aired during the first cour of 2014." (emphasis mine)

So, a split-cour series would need to have two 13 episode pieces divided by a break. A complete season in Japan, for as long as I have been alive, is 26 weeks. So, we clearly have two seasons not a split-cour series. As anime has gotten shorter the cour has become more important than the season.

I completely agree. Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans is clearly season 2 by all of it's Japanese advertisements. Plus, as stated above, a cour is 13 weeks and it's going to be a 50 episode show over two seasons that were separated by over half a year. Can we please get this changed back?

The reason it's listing 32 (now 33), is because they're listed newest to oldest. Notice it stops at 26, which is the beginning of season 2. I think that merits splitting them.

This show is pretty much the definition of split-cour, since like all main Gundam series it had 50 episodes greenlit from the get-go.

Not really. Look at Gundam 00 -- same basic format. 25, then they do 25 more later. They announces it as 50, that's over two seasons. I don't believe there is any double-split-cour. I think there is plenty of president here to split them.

Plus, story wise, it's after a timeskip.

I would also like to add that I did some legwork and as stated on the Site & Forum rules about sources, I checked the original source (http://g-tekketsu.com/), TVGuide (http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/mobile-s ... ns/932601/), ANN (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... p?id=18586), MyAnimeList (https://myanimelist.net/anime/33051/Mob ... dam%20iron), and anidb (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?sh ... &aid=12048), and they ALL state that Gundam IBO has 2 seasons. The request to make this one season did not fact check. I know we live in a post-truth world, but could we please get this returned to two seasons.

Sorry about that.

No need to apologise, thanks for fixing it. :)

Credit where it's due, I didn't get to it first.
Someone else fixed that particular goof.

It was split up into two seasons again. I can't find another thread about it so no clue what happened this time. What's going on?
