erm Official source states there IS a second seasonM0UL wrote:someone added season 2 of bungo stray dogs. can somebody delete this?
Your first source says 第32話 or "Episode 32" right off the bat. From the OP:xhesakh wrote:Can someone revert the following series back from single season to two seasons. Thank you
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans
Season 1 (Episodes 1 thru 25)
Season 2 (Episode 26 - ongoing)
This show is pretty much the definition of split-cour, since like all main Gundam series it had 50 episodes greenlit from the get-go.Another telling fact is that the official sites for most of these split-cour series list the episodes as 1-24, further reinforcing that this was always a single "season" with a broadcast break midway through.
Same thing, the second cour was announced before the first even started: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=25066&p=104853&hilit=bungo#p104876

"One of the four conventional three-month periods of television broadcasting in Japan (January to March; April to June; July to September; October to December): "Noragami" aired during the first cour of 2014." (emphasis mine)
So, a split-cour series would need to have two 13 episode pieces divided by a break. A complete season in Japan, for as long as I have been alive, is 26 weeks. So, we clearly have two seasons not a split-cour series. As anime has gotten shorter the cour has become more important than the season.
The reason it's listing 32 (now 33), is because they're listed newest to oldest. Notice it stops at 26, which is the beginning of season 2. I think that merits splitting them.Your first source says 第32話 or "Episode 32" right off the bat. Not really. Look at Gundam 00 -- same basic format. 25, then they do 25 more later. They announces it as 50, that's over two seasons. I don't believe there is any double-split-cour. I think there is plenty of president here to split them. This show is pretty much the definition of split-cour, since like all main Gundam series it had 50 episodes greenlit from the get-go.
It was split up into two seasons again. I can't find another thread about it so no clue what happened this time. Sorry about that.
Someone else fixed that particular goof.
