Trailers in general are not allowed, but if they aired on TV all of a sudden it's ok? Trailers/previews are just that. They don't inherently change because they aired on TV.

You're essentially saying that trailers are allowed if they aired. You may have specified DVD extras, but I've come across multiple trailers/previews that are there because they aired on TV.Not Allowed: Director's/Extended Cuts and DVD extras such as: trailers, bloopers, making-ofs, deleted scenes, cast interviews (unless streamed or aired). Also not permitted are compilations of seasons merging every episode into one long video featuring little to no changes (i.e. 2003’s Star Wars: Clone Wars).

They're not supposed to be allowed - That's a wording problem it's only intended to be applied to cast interviews as far as I know.
I'll get 100% confirmation in the staff meeting tomorrow because you're correct it makes no sense to allow them if they aired or not

I've always understood it to mean just aired cast interviews, and sought to act accordingly when directed to examples of the other items listed.

We will clarify this in the bible. Trailers are not allowed. Cast interviews are allowed in the specials if they aired on TV.THRRRROWAWAY170KE3 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 7:23 amTrailers in general are not allowed, but if they aired on TV all of a sudden it's ok?
