Episode title questions

I can't find anything regarding how to handle episode titles, but is there any reason punctuation should be getting removed? In this case, I'm referring to the Celebrity Family Feud series.

Checking out one of the episodes, it is currently titled as "Corbin Bernsen vs Margaret Cho and The 'American Chopper Family' vs Christopher Knight & Adrianne Curry" with American Chopper Family in quotations.
However, for whatever reason, this is apparently not acceptable for this episode, which The Futon Critic lists as "Maulers vs. Brawlers and 'Descendants 3' vs. 'American Housewife'"- and it continues to be changed back to "Maulers vs Brawlers and Descendants 3 vs American Housewife" here, without quotations. Is there some sort of issue with these?..

There's also the case of all the 'versus'... as per The Futon Critic, they are all titled as "vs." with the period. For example, this episode should be listed as "Queer Eye: OG vs. Queer Eye: The New Class"- yet continues to be changed back to "Queer Eye: OG vs Queer Eye: The New Class" here. Also interesting to note that all the titles do not have the period, and are just listed as "vs". Is there some reason that having the period is incorrect and cannot be fixed throughout all the season?

Thanks in advance.

We don't have a rule against punctuation in titles, even if a user's file system cannot handle it. Would you prefer that we lock this show or this season that keeps getting changed. Unfortunately, we don't have a log on who is changing it right now.

I'd assume staff would need to do an episode title change & lock, otherwise it will continue to get changed back. Not sure why whoever is doing this is so against punctuation... this is currently spread throughout all the seasons.

Yeah... I added the punctuations to the season 7 episodes, and they've all already been reverted back. Could these titles be fixed and locked then?

It should follow the ABC listing. If you can change it to ABC and let me know. Then I will lock it.

If we should go by the ABC listings, then yes, the periods should definitely be included. Seems to disagree with how Futon Critic lists the Maulers episode with the quotation marks (ABC lists it as "Maulers vs. Brawlers and Descendants 3 vs. American Housewife" while Futon Critic lists it as "Maulers vs. Brawlers and 'Descendants 3' vs. 'American Housewife'" - seems like Zap2it partly agrees with Futon Critic, though adds quotations marks around Maulers vs. Brawlers as well).

However, even just putting aside everything regarding quotation marks, all sources seem to agree on including the period after "vs". I can still change it to be that, but sadly, seems like whoever keeps changing it would change it back by the time I made a post saying that the titles are fixed, so I'm not sure what to do other than hope some staff see that at the exact moment I've posted it... otherwise it will be quickly changed back (However, whoever does keep changing it seems to have forgotten about S7E6, so currently including the periods, it looks like that title can be locked...)

EDIT: The correct season 7 titles should be as follows:
"Queer Eye: OG vs. Queer Eye: The New Class"
"Andy Cohen vs. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Kevin Nealon vs. Drew Carey"
"The Bold Type vs. RuPaul's Drag Race"
"Cedric The Entertainer vs. Wayne Brady and The Hills: New Beginnings vs. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation"
"NFLPA Hall of Famers vs. NFLPA Rising Stars"
"Kathie Lee Gifford vs. Ricki Lake and 2 Chainz vs. Big Boi"

Isn't Season 6 Maulers vs Brawlers? The ABC native site will always be a stronger source of truth against a preferred site like Futon Critic.

If that's the case, then yes, should be listed as Maulers vs. Brawlers and Descendants 3 vs. American Housewife:

Also, I see georginasj5 certified the titles. No clue why, but for some reason, season 7 episode 1 show up with a random quotation mark at the end that shouldn't be there... but in 'Edit Translations', I know the English title is locked/certified now- but there it does not have the quotation mark at the end... not sure what that's about.

Certification can lock a translation without locking the rest of the series. I've removed the quotations.

Hey, sorry again, but looks like the Maulers episode was done incorrectly... season 7, episode 6 should actually be "Kathie Lee Gifford vs. Ricki Lake and 2 Chainz vs. Big Boi" (So you might want to remove that description as well :P)

That Maulers vs. Brawlers title should be certified like that on season 6, episode 6. Apologies for any confusion!
