I originally posted this in Members Helping Member but thought this might be the better place to post. Sorry for the confusion.
I've added several series over the past few days that seem to be getting deleted since visiting the pages gives me a 404 error. All of the series being deleted are one-time series, but they are not movies either. They are series that are have been produced with a specific number of shows aimed at presenting specific topics. I've read the rules and I don't see how they are violating any of the terms. Can someone please help me understand what's going on?
Here is one example of a missing series:

Why are my series getting deleted?

What's the title of the series you're trying to add? Obviously, the link you've posted displays the 404 error, but if you give some examples of the content you're trying to add, maybe there's a clue there? I'm not going to pretend that I've got much insight to provide, but you never know.
One series is called Untold Blessings: Three Paths to Holiness. Here are a couple of links to the series. I entered each episode and even added cover art and cast. It was a fairly complete entry and yet it was deleted. This is only one example of a few other similar entries.

Who is responsible for deleting content here on thetvdb.com? Maybe I could get some guidelines on what I did wrong so that I can re-add the information correctly. This website is amazing for its extensiveness and I'm just trying to continue to grow it so that it continues to be the go-to source for any and all series out there.
Thanks!

It's been so long since I've read the guidelines, I'm due for a refresh. The moderators are responsible for removing content, as far as I know. Perhaps it has something to do with it being a web series? I know other web series exist in the database, so that's just a guess. Hopefully someone with authority will chime in soon.
Two questions:
I echo flapjack.fiasco's question: does a series in fact have to actually air? What defines airing? Would that mean that any direct to DVD series would not be included in the extensive database?
Even if that is a requirement, how can whoever deleted the series be certain that it did not air on a network prior to its DVD release? It seems reasonable to assume that it did since most series are followed by an eventual DVD release.

I'm just guessing, please don't put ANY stock in my suggestions. I really shouldn't be speculating.discbook wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 1:22 pmTwo questions:

It's pretty easy to find out if a series was ever broadcast on a network, if that happens to be the criteria. TVGuide, etc.
Even though most of us are stuck indoors with easy access to a computer right now, that doesn't mean that people aren't busy. I don't think that content removal is at all automated, which means someone removed it for a reason, and if it happened recently, it means that the mods are active, and they'll get around to answering this question soon enough.
It is aired on PureFlix, a faith-based streaming service. It is also available on DVD but it is not a movie. It is a series.
