Twitch airdates vs Official YouTube Uploads

Postby Korrasalami » Fri Dec 07, 2018 12:51 am

Hi,

I've been adding a web series that has two iterations under the same name: Sips Plays Skyrim

https://www.thetvdb.com/series/sips-plays-skyrim

The first run was in 2013, and originally uploaded to YouTube. For this reason I've kept the "Original Network" as YouTube, and set this series as Season 1 (of 2).

The second run was this year, 2018, and was aired originally on Twitch, however hour-a-piece videos of the full streams have been uploaded to an official YouTube channel, Sips Live.

So for season 2 I've used the hour-long YouTube videos as reference for the titles and episode count, which works well compared to Season 1, but I'm unsure on how to proceed for the airdate. My question is whether the Original Airdate for the Season 2 Twitch run should use the Twitch stream airdates, or the upload date for the official YouTube videos of the streams.

Thanks in advance
