A quick heads-up from a user with a Comcast provided SMC gateway. Had to turn off "smart packet detection" in the firewall settings since the work done on Sunday.

Thanks Matt S, and indeed everyone who helps runs this site. It's truly become a part of my households daily routine, and not just for automatic updates in programs like Meedio and Media Center, but also for the RSS feeds on today's episodes and simply reading about what is up and coming in our favourite shows!

Are there any plans to post the updates to SourceForge ?

No, there aren't any sourceforge updates relating to this. This thread is about linux administration, not site development.
Please don't PM me. Post in the forums instead unless there is a very good reason for a PM or I won't respond.

OK, thanks for the clarification.
However, my basic question still stands: Are Matt's fixes going to be documented anywhere for folks that want to follow ?

At this point anyone with an IQ higher than 4 would have made a new thread to ask his or her question. Thread closed.

To clarify, Matt's updates aren't in our code. They're in the Linux configuration, which we don't post to Sourceforge. If you want to find out what he did, look into linux/apache optimizations for high traffic websites.
