sorry, pls merge this post as I can not find the edit button currently.... :( worked 4 mins before.

Here is an approach, which covers this use case: http://www.fernsehserien.de/caillou/episodenguide
The English first episode "make cookies" is in German part b (second part) of episode 45 "backt kekse".

There are a lot of other cartoons series where this happens.

With the new site (and new API), will there be any way to tie an actor to a specific episode? Right now there's just guest stars and the list of actors covering multiple seasons. I'd like to integrate my TV database with my Movie database. Searching for an actor should return the list of movies and individual episodes they appear in.

Just wanted to quickly add this info in regards to linking hashes to episodes for matching without names in the new API.

Not sure if this would meet your needs but it might be nice to use some sort of standard hashing mechanism for better integration with other services.

Yes actors will be linkable to individual episodes in the new site.

As for hashes on the new site. We've certainly talked about it, I don't know if it's in the current plan. There are issues with hashes but it's certainly being considered.
Please don't PM me. Post in the forums instead unless there is a very good reason for a PM or I won't respond.

Hashes would be awesome, there is a standard out there ready to be used.
