Ok all the files have been moved. We have moved into a production VMWare enviroment. We have 4 X5460 processor cores allocated to the server and 16 gigs of ram. The old server would run with a work load of 50-60 and zero idle time on the procs. It is now running around 5-6 with 60% CPU available. The site is dang fast again too :)

I have just kicked off the XML/ZIP file rebuild job to rebuild the entire static content from the db. This will take a number of hours to build. I am heading to bed, but will check on the rebuild processes in the morning, should hopefully be done by then.

Thanks,
Crzy

Just to add for anyone who cares, you can go to http://thetvdb.com/?tab=reports to see if the rebuild is done. The series waiting for update field will be 0 once it's finished. Currently it's at 17000.
Please don't PM me. Post in the forums instead unless there is a very good reason for a PM or I won't respond.

Cool, how exciting :)

It would be good to get one of those "server load" percentage bars that some torrent trackers have to visually show how hard the server is working.

Hmmm it's now at 16600, which means it did 400 shows in one hour, does this mean it will take 41 more hours or? ;)

I think that depends of how many episodes and seasons all series have...

Well that's only relevant when it somehow starts at the shows with most episodes or one that are most popular for example, otherwise we can assume some sort of random distribution :P
