then mark it like that. example: shown before season 1:

Code: Select all

<displayseason>1</displayseason>
<displayepisode>1</displayepisode>
shown after season 1:

Code: Select all

<displayseason>2</displayseason>
<displayepisode>1</displayepisode>
if it should place after season two and there is no season 3 you could say:

Code: Select all

<displayseason>3</displayseason>
<displayepisode>1</displayepisode>
or (if season 2 have 12 Episodes):

Code: Select all

<displayseason>2</displayseason>
<displayepisode>25</displayepisode>

Thank you it's very clear . But it's not yet complete for my example .

For my example , I have in the order : S02E01 => S02E02 => Special 1 => Special 2 => Special 3 => S02E03

So for Special 3 , I understood the code .

But For Special 1 and Special 2 , How can I Say in the code because they are before a Special ???

Special1:
<season>0</season>
<episode>1</episode>
<displayseason>2</displayseason>
<displayepisode>3</displayepisode>
Special2:
<season>0</season>
<episode>2</episode>
<displayseason>2</displayseason>
<displayepisode>3</displayepisode>
Special3:
<season>0</season>
<episode>3</episode>
<displayseason>2</displayseason>
<displayepisode>3</displayepisode>

only the episode number of the special changes. Kodi will list all three specials in the right direction before Episode 3

Hi

I'm French, in my TV Show " Lost, les disparus " , there are 25 episods but only 24 on tvdb because it's an American show and in America there was only 24 episods ...

So I can't see my 25's episod on Kodi with the scrap on TVDB .

I would test the NFO File to see my episod in the list .

Question :

- Do I need to make two NFO for the TV Show and the Episod like the tutorial ?
- Or Only a NFO for the episod ?

Where Do I need to save the NFO file ?

Thanks a lot
If the extra episode is the very last one then I believe you should only need an NFO file for that episode. Or if the difference is the last two you may want to create for both so that you can split the descriptions. If the difference is not at the end you would need a file for each episode.

This tutorial dates back to 2011 and is outdated.

I strongly recommend that you read the Kodi pages regarding NFO Files and ask your questions at the Kodi forum.

Link to Kodi NFO Pages which contain a simple template that you can copy and fill in... https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files

In answer to your question, you only need to make one nfo file for the episode as long as the show is already in your library.
