I agree with you, and dannyboy666 needs to stop acting like a school yard bully - it's basically his choice or forget it. Regardless of how DSC have messed up or what others think/agree upon.

lol, schoolyard bully, I'll have to remember that one! :D

No, he's sticking to policy, which is his right until an administrator determines otherwise. There's no reason to let a simple disagreement over policy devolve into mudslinging, regardless of how frayed nerves may get over this. Either way, as I said before, it's one episode on a network not known for keeping accurate records, so when they seem to put forth an effort that ought to be commended - regardless of whether they used their whole asses.

I understand that policy is policy, but there are many other reliable sources that have not used what DSC have given us and made the choice to mark said episode as a special.

There is more than one reliable source that lists monster machines as a special and not an episode.

There's an argument to be made that, historically, the Specials moniker was inaccurate, as its original purpose was to amalgamate tertiary series content, such as DVD Bonus Features (until that got out of hand). In that regard, the airing network has the final determination of what is or is not part of the series proper. That said, there's a point to be made that not following a set schedule plays havoc with certain programmes, but our primary mission has always been to track series origins, not to function as the EPG side of an automated retrieval system - that people may do so if they desire is inconsequential to our central focus.

Either way, this is at the point where an admin - red title - should make the final call on policy or interoperability, as further discussion without that decision isn't likely to be productive.

Locked by @danyboy666, please fix.

Have you not read the thread? There's a five page discussion going on and yet you come here and give us for argument that your warez software is screwed up?

No I didn't read the entire thread.

TV Maze is a user maintained source just like us. They mostly follow (copy) what we do here. Ex.: Mythbusters.

Have you even read the rules to this site? By the way calling me names won't help your cause to be honest.

If TV Maze mostly follows (Copys) Thetvdb then how come they don't have the problem like we are having with Gold Rush?

Yes, I have read the rules. I'm not calling you names as it was a figure of speech and was a reference to "acting" not a direct name call. If I've hurt your feelings sorry. Just getting over this whole issue and would like us to just get it resolved.
