My python script is having some issues with this episode.

Code: Select all

>>> import tvdb_api
>>> tv = tvdb_api.Tvdb(dvdorder=True)
>>> series = tv['Murder_She_Wrote']
>>> series[6][18]
<Episode 06x18 - u"O'Malley's Luck">
>>> series[6][19]
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  File "/home/rtaft/.local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/tvdb_api.py", line 420, in __getitem__
    raise tvdb_episodenotfound("Could not find episode %s" % (repr(episode_number)))
tvdb_api.tvdb_episodenotfound: Could not find episode 19
>>> series[6][20]
<Episode 06x20 - u'Shear Madness'>
>>> series[6][21]
<Episode 06x21 - u'The Szechuan Dragon'>
>>> series[6][22]
<Episode 06x22 - u'The Sicilian Encounter'>

If I remove dvdorder=True, it works fine and I can work with that, but this should be fixed. The DVD order does not appear to be set anywhere for this season, so I'm not sure why I'm getting this error for one episode.

Check if it's an issue of '0' handling in your script.
The episode in question has 0 and 0.0 in the DVD Order values, as an issue with the new site is putting 0s in all orders when the episode is edited after its creation.

Otherwise you can probably add the real DVD order to fix it.

Yes, when I went into edit mode, I see 0.0 for that episode. Unfortunately, setting it to DVD Season 6 and DVD Episode 19 does not help, it changes it to 19.0 in the edit mode, but nothing changes in the read only view or from the API.

The website view feature for DVD Order is currently broken and displays nothing, so I wouldn't rely on it for testing.

Testing with the API page, it seems to return the DVD information properly:

Do you have issues with other shows that have set numbers? For example this episode also has set numbers.

PS: sorry about this, moving to the API subforum now. I slept on this yesterday ;)
