Can you see individual episode runtimes on the API that can translate over into seeing them in a third party app? Is this at all possible?

A better way to phrase the question is are runtimes attached to or included in an individual episode in the API?

The answer is no. Runtimes are not available at episode level but I believe this is something they are looking to add to api 4.

Do you have any idea when API 4 will be released?

This has been done, but you should have made the requests in Artwork or Series Change Requests.

Can you give me a quick rundown and snippet of what the API 4 will look like and include? Just curious. I hope it's a much better transition than the last new API was. That last one was very messy unfortunately because I love this database.

This is a brand new API. It will not be backwards compatible with the other APIs therefore the transition will be relatively easy. We intend to deprecate v1 at the end of the year. v2 will stay live in 2021. All of the functionality that was built in v3 will be exposed on the API and there will be several new endpoints to support the features we are developing.

Putting an end-date on V1 is long overdue. :-)
