The API returns wrong Data for Episodes:

e.g.: Arrow, it returns max of 200 Episodes, up to Season 5 from 2016, the Links Dict contains always the same Infos:

Page:1
Max Pages:1
next null
prev nulll

if i query for a specific Season it works as expected, the general Episodes Query is broken since tpday

+1, seeing this on all shows. all return the same 1/1/null/null links, even if you query pages 2, 3 or beyond.

Wow my website lost most of the episodes of shows updated last night that had more than 100 episodes.

Guess I cannot automatically deleted episodes from the database...

I can verify this as well using unit tests of thetvdb-java. Only a single page with up to 100 episodes is returned.

Also, when querying episodes by DVD season HTTP 500 Internal Server Error is returned.

Response logs below.

Thank you all for reporting this. Our developers are on it and should have a fix deployed soon.

Is this what's affecting the apps I use from either pulling the day from here at all to their apps or in the past few hours? I've seen one app I use not only not being able to update data from the database here, but it also just lost gobs of episodes from numerous shows that I've watched and even a tons I haven't watched at all. The other app I use hasn't lost any data or gained any new data in awhile.

I'm not sure what apps you are referring to? The issue depends on which API the app uses.

Experiencing the same issue, great that the devs are on it!

However, I'm experiencing another issue as well: it seems the API cannot handle single quotes. When doing a /search/series query with name "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" it returns a 404 with

Code: Select all

{"Error":"Resource not found"}
The single quote is properly escaped in the URL:

Code: Select all

https://api.thetvdb.com/search/series?name=It%27s%20Always%20Sunny%20in%20Philadelphia
This did work until recently.

TV Series is one app I use and the other one is SeriesGuide. I don't know which API each of them use but they're both messed up greatly right now in different ways.

I can't even seem to get a token. My app stopped working yesterday after working fine for months. Even using the API docs and known good credentials I am getting "Valid User Account Required" and "API Key Required" errors trying to retrieve a token.
