TVDB Stopped Working Via VPN

Starting today, when I try to login to https://www.thetvdb.com/ through my VPN (Private Internet Access) on Firefox, I get the following message:
Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for www.thetvdb.com expired on 7/31/2018.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE
I can accept the risk and continue creating an exception within Firefox.

I get a similar warning when using MS Edge.

If I turn my VPN off, I get a different certificate, one from COMODO CA Limited that expires 2/21/20.

Also, when I’m connected through my VPN, the app I’m using (Metagenerator3) to pull TVDB info through the APIv2 isn’t working. If I turn the VPN off, the app works correctly. I’m guessing the two issues are related.

Did something change recently? Is there something I can do to use TVDB while connecting through a VPN?

We had a DNS issue earlier today but the API should be up and working again. Let us know if you are experiencing any more issues. Are site is also a bit slow too, but we are recovering.

Something weird going on with the site today. Can't access, then finally accessed, some other user logged in. Can't log out or add episodes.

Is it just me?

TVDB site and API are working fine for me now.

It is down again. Both website and API.
