That is exactly what i need. The files are even better but i imagine the site is the best as it will always be up to date. Just wondering why you say it is not perfect. IS it because it is a webpage or is it because it is missing some series or data?

Re: List of series ID's and names

using the api updates call every so often to get all the updates and then parse that for new series - http://www.thetvdb.com/wiki/index.php/API:Update_Records (although you'd have to find a way to fill in the gap between the db dump/export and the first set of updates) does the updates_all.zip stil...

Re: Latest Export

Looks fine to me, just downloaded it and used 7-zip 9.22 (beta) to extract it, and then loaded it (taking quite a while) in notepad, all on windows 7 and could see all the sql. Incase it's any use I've just run a randomly found md5 checksum tool against my download to get the checksum 21E73065744ED...

Re: Latest Export

Any chance of a new dump or a re upload as i just downloaded that file and 7zip can not open it no matter the file extension so i think it may have been damaged either before or during upload.

Re: List of series ID's and names

Thanks etw i think that should supply exactly what i need! I have a caching and update system partly build for AniDB and should be easy enough to get that to work with TVDB as well.
