Re: Lost again

As the mods have told you Lost will not be changing. The decision is final and isn't up for further discussion.

Re: Batch Edit Series

We'll most likely allow this in some form at some point. Although I don't know if it will ever be a general user feature. While it's nice to have it also has the major downside of allowing people to mess up whole series in record time so if we do add it it'll likely be for trusted users only.

Re: Image resizing

We could do this but most likely will not. Resizing images automatically is easy but there's no easy way to make sure it makes sense. We'd much rather the users take the time to sort out the images themselves to get the highest quality. We have very specific sizes set because applications using them...

Re: The "Airs" field is inadequate

That field's mostly useless to begin with. We aren't a TV guide and we most likely never will be as there's too many regions and too many functional TV guides already managing that information. It's mostly useful to give people an idea of the time it originally aired in it's original region. If you ...

Re: Return series URI in GET /series/id

All series use slugs. The slugs were automatically assigned and in the event the script failed to apply an obvious slug the series ID was set as a temporary slug. If you want you can also use the ID by using https://www.thetvdb.com/dereferrer/series/SERIESID although that may not be avaliable foreve...

Re: Please add "Hiatus" or "In Hiatus" to series status

We had Hiatus as an option years ago. It was never properly updated and just caused confusion. It's not something we're likely to ever bring back.

Re: Updating TVTime

You'll have to ask TVTime. We've left the old API running for now and any apps that rely on it should still be working.

Re: can't locate series

We still have some issues to work out with the search, we're working on it. You can go directly to it using the URL slug which is fairly obvious but we'll need to get the search fixed.

Re: Linking to shows and episodes on new site

The slugs are automatically locked to be mod/admin editable. The only exception being any show which still uses the old site ID can be set by users. In other-words they shouldn't really change ever. We're also trying to make them all the series name with the year added in the event of a duplicate so...
