Re: Wrestling / UFC / Sports Allowed?

Note that the TVDB has not ever cared how or why the Scene numbers releases. The database is used for tracking and media organization -- and matching Scene numbering has not nor ever will be a factor in that consideration.

Re: Wrestling / UFC / Sports Allowed?

Deleted. Next we need somebody to step up and condense the conversation down to some simple rules and guidelines that can be inserted into the new Rules re-write being looked at by admins. Any takers? Be concise -- but clear. If your guidelines are too long, they probably are too complicated for use...

Re: Split Ghost Hunters into a new series.

As was suggested in the other forum you posted into, it is considered a dupe here and has been deleted as such. This series has been previously discussed and the decision was to continue with the numbering of the original series (especially since A&E are now rebranding the earlier episodes as 'G...

Re: Wtrrestling / UFC / Sports Allowed?

I would like the users to circle back after the clean-up of the dupes are discussed to clarify ppv policy. The main question seems to be: Are you, the users who would be using this data, better served with individual entries for each show (treating it like a movie) ... or are you better served keepi...

Re: Wheeler Dealers

I agree. First -- we're not beholden to the Scene's numbering so that doesn't factor into the discussion. However - looking through the series it does seem pretty clear-cut. Our numbering matches what DiscoveryUK has for the first 13 seasons. Once the show went over to Velocity, our numbering seems ...

Re: Wrestling / UFC / Sports Allowed?

To clarify: The staff isn't going to 'solve' this. One of the big reasons wrestling and UFC weren't allowed before is because of the major s-storm these 2 particular 'sports' causes between weekly shows, some PPV that are yearly, some that start out yearly and then are abandoned, some that go away a...

Re: Wrestling / UFC / Sports Allowed?

Also can we get https://www.thetvdb.com/series/wrestlemania unlocked and updated if WWE is now allowed again? Depends. Earlier it was discussed having the 'PPV' shows all under one umbrella entry. In which case - the cleanup of the various dupes all over the WWE entries would include the various du...

Re: Mickey Mouse Works doubt

Multi-segment Episode Splitting: This applies to cartoons only. When a cartoon has multiple story lines in a single episode the standard on this site is to enter each story as a separate episode. This is because it's quite common for networks to release them separately at some point. For those peop...

Re: LEGO Jurassic World

The series was sold in multiple locations in the world, it seems. Nickelodeon just got the US rights (and is one of the last to broadcast it). Family Channel listings should probably be what is used.

Re: LEGO Jurassic World

I've removed the special (which already existed as it's own series).

The better question now is why we're not using the first airing dates and only now entering the US airing date?
