TheTVDB.com

I've added " Man v. Food " and " Powers(2012) " to my sick beard ! The folders were created but do not show up on my sick beard home page ! Sabnzbd is downloading "Man V. Food " but I keep getting this error message when sick beard tries to scrape it :

2012-05-09 17:42:47.621000 POSTPROCESSER :: This show isn't in your list, you need to add it to SB before post-processing an episode

The guys at sick beard are telling me its a TVDB issue ! WTF ?

"And that doesn't really surprise me cuz The TVDB sux !!! Bunch of Friggin' morons run that site !"

Delete the Show in SickBeard
Delete the folder D:\tv shows 2\Man v. Food
Create a new folder D:\tv shows 2\Man_v_Food (different foldername)
Then go into SickBeard and Add existing Show and select folder D:\tv shows 2\Man_v_Food and see what happens then.
BTW I don't think it's TVDB. I just added the show myself in SickBeard to see what happens. Got 3 seasons of information."

Clearly any problems you're experiencing are due to your own incompetence and ignorance.. plus from what I'm seeing they're well deserved. Maybe we'd actually give half a shit about assisting you if you weren't so useless or at the very least didn't badmouth us immediately prior to coming here and asking for help in the most failtastic manner. The most hilarious part is no one over there even said anything about it being an issue with TheTVDb. He just sort of made that up when he couldn't figure out how to get shit working. I can't even begin fathom how the mind of this one must work..

I agree somewhat with pete_the_lion - the admins are pretty inept (I will agree they do a sort-of decent job, but could do way better) - they let people add/update shows then lock the series, knowing full well there are inaccuracies. When the errors are pointed out to them they go all defensive, blaming the TV stations airing dates (WTF ?)

Better checking of series (not individual shows as that would be way too time consuming) would be very beneficial and increase the data integrity, improve the site's pitiful reputation, and would stop people dumping shit on the poor admins (boo-hoo).

Admins are supposed to be better trained and act like adults - not behave like retarded baboons (ManiacB, for example). If they want respect then they should act their age, and treat everyone with respect, regardless if they deserve it or not.

If they can't take criticism then they should find another job
