Hello, i have notice that yesterday and today the search of the series on the site thetvdb.com and from the api are too slow, there are some problem?

I've been getting 504 timeouts at random when trying to access things.

I've also been experiencing frequent slow responses and timeouts using the XML API. Is this a general problem nowadays? (I don't see many recent posts about such problems, nor any annoucement of outages.)

Scott does know about the problem and I think is looking into it.
I think it's only been like this for a few days really, so hopefully it won't be like this for long.

Thanks for the info. It must not be affecting many people that badly or there would be more complaints. My two apps use 20 sec timeouts because I don't want to bog down the apps. Maybe if they waited 5 or 10 secs longer there would be no timeouts.

We're pushing our bandwidth limits, which is causing issues. We're upwards of 30TB/month. I'm looking into possible solutions while putting in a lot of time on the rewrite, since improvements in the API might help a bit. :(
