Anyone been watching the new season of Mad Men? What do we think so far?
A few things have changed; they don't smoke as much and Betty got obese but I'm still enjoying it.

I'm digging it. It's gonna be interesting seeing what the poster means. Previous posters represented Don pretty well - wonder what the fifth season poster represents?
I'm also interested to see how Lane Pryce is slowly slipping downward - he's been the only one in the past that is fairly straightlaced and sensible - things seem to be unravelling a bit for him. And he's in control of the finances...
I like that we are now moving into the civil rights movement as well - going to be interesting to see how they (particularly Roger) move into the modern day.

I didn't think Lane was unravelling. I think Roger is on a bit of a downward spiral though especially after losing Lucky Strike and Pete doesn't seem to be helping the situation.

I suppose unravelling is a bit of a harsh word - he can hardly afford groceries he said to his wife - so where is the money going. Add to that the robbing of the picture from the wallet, i think the series might reveal he's been losing his money somewhere...
Pete's a rather distasteful character by all accounts

Holy cow, I did not see that coming. i thought things were getting worse for Lane, but jeeees. Fantastic season - the slightly disjoined episode 11 was fantastic - such a reveal.

I have not watched 5th season of Mad Men because i started watching this show last week, thats the one reason. But i am sure i will complete all the previous season in this week and then will watch this season.
