I feel that Jeopardy (77075) is incorrect and needs some serious love:
http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=77075&lid=7An episode list doesn't exist on the official site (
http://www.jeopardy.com/), so I was hoping that I could use something like
http://www.j-archive.com until one surfaces. I understand that j-archive is a fan run archive and not an official one, but it's the best we got at the moment. While searching the forums there were discussions about Jeopardy being listed with years instead of season numbers. But according to the IMDB below Jeopardy has real seasons so I think we should standardize on that.
I checked the rules and searched some of the official sources for an episode list. IMDB is the best one (second to j-archive):
tv.com is missing a ton of seasons:
http://www.tv.com/shows/jeopardy/episodes/tvguide only goes back to 1999:
http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/jeopardy/episodes/202355tvrage is similar to imdb in that the main version starts in 1984.
http://www.tvrage.com/shows/id-7879/episode_listimdb has two jeopardy shows:
- Only one episode for the original 1964 version of Jeopardy:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057758/episodes - Then a ton of episodes for the 1984 version that's on the air today. The one with Alex Trebek.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0159881/episodesNOTE: While IMDB is "more" correct then the other sources, it still falls way short of j-archive. I picked a random season, 19. Click on that in IMDB, then compare it to j-archive:
http://www.j-archive.com/showseason.php?season=19I think thetvdb.com should be similar to imdb in which is splits the show into two separate shows. The 1964 original and then the 1984 rebirth with Alex Trebek. So the seasons from IMDB and then fill in the episode data from j-archive. I'm willing to put in the work and clean it up if the mods are okay with it.
