The following are decisions we've made regarding each series, including our reasoning. If you find official information about the series that conflicts with what we've posted here, let us know and we'll review it, but otherwise these decisions will not be changed.

1000 Ways To DieAccording to the
official listing on spike this series is in its fourth season and will remain so in our database until their listing changes.
American DadThe official listing on Fox's website clearly shows that American Dad is in its 9th season.
No matter what other source lists this in any other way our listing will be matched to Fox.
American PickersContrary to scene belief, American Pickers started
Season 3 on 6/1/2011.
American RestorationHistory Channel now shows American Restoration in season 2, so we're going to continue following their episode guide, despite other websites and "scene" releases listing otherwise. We always use the official listings when possible.
Ancient AliensAccording to
the episode guide on history.com, Ancient Aliens is now in season 3.
ArcherThe
official FX website lists the first episode of Season 3 as "The Man From Jupiter". "The Heart of Archness" episode arc will remain as specials.
As such they are specials an will not be added to either season 2 or season 3 unless the
official episode guide lists them as such.
*update 3/16* "The Scene" as well as many other sources have just in the past week crammed the 3 part special The Heart of Archness into season 3, however the official website still lists the correct episode 1 of season 3 as The Man From Jupiter. I just wanted to further confirm that we will not be changing our listing and as such I have locked the season entirely.Dirty JobsDirty Jobs is currently in its 8th season per
the official site and
other valid sources. We do not care what season the scene thinks it is.
EurekaEureka is continuing season 4 in July 2011. It is not season 5.
HannibalWe've discussed this matter amongst the mods and Hannibal has been reordered so that Œuf is episode 4. This series a bit tricky since it doesn't really have an official source. NBC is the closest thing to an official source since they've got some connection to the creator but they didn't actually make it so it's not entirely fair to label them as such.
Since a true official source is missing and multiple countries were involved in making it we're going to try listing it how most markets did. Air dates will be the first one internationally. If this ends up causing problems and fighting we'll have to pick an official source and we'll be following that (It'll be NBC). So for now it's unlocked and the series is ordered the way it aired in most markets. If everyone plays nice it'll stay that way.
Kitchen NightmaresOur listing corresponds with
the official one on the Fox website. As such it won't be changing until theirs does.
Law & Order UKThe TheTVDb entry for this series has now been updated with the proper UK airdates and order for all seasons including series 6 which has already aired (atleast in part) elsewhere. Per our rules we follow the original dates and ordering from the country of origin. The ordering of series 4 has also been corrected as these episodes were aired out of order in either the US or Canada but in the correct order in the UK. -hikaricore
Last Exile (Series 2)Before it comes up (and I'm sure it will..) episode #10 is "Illegal Move" while the episode considered 10 by some fansub groups "First Adjournment" is actually episode 9.5 per the official website:
http://www.lastexile-fam.com/story.html *edit* Also, the upcoming episode on Feb 11 will be episode 15.5, not episode 16. (or 17 for that matter)
LostThe first season has 24 episodes because it originally only had 24 episodes. Some networks have edited the 2 part season ender into a 3 part season ender, however as this was not the original order we do not recognise the third part here.
The Lost RoomIt was originally aired as a three episode mini-series, many networks have cut the 2 hour episodes into 2 episodes each making the series 6 episodes long, we however list them in accordance with the orignal air order.
MythbustersDue to past issues with Discovery Channel randomly (and frequently) changing their listings, we've taken the approach that we'll always follow TVRage's order. If Discovery Channel eventually comes out with detailed and complete listings, we'll wait 6 months and then match what they have.
Nip/TuckAs the topic seems to come up way to often, let me clarify that our listing is correct. For whatever reason, the original network (FX) split the final season into two seasons and aired it as such. This was confirmed in the past by Nip/Tuck's official website which is now
defunct and as such I am unable to properly link you to it. None the less this is the actual case and our listing will NOT be changed despite the fact that they released it on dvd as one. Stop asking.
Pawn StarsHistory Channel now shows Pawn Stars in season 3, so we're going to continue following their episode guide, despite other websites and "scene" releases listing otherwise. We always use the official listings when possible.
The OfficeSeason 4's double episodes are listed that way because NBC's official website lists the episodes as 401, 403, 405, etc indicating that they aren't single entries. This also coincides with other TV site listings.
The PacificThe official titles provided by HBO are "Part One", "Part Two", etc and not "Guadalcanal/Leckie", "Basilone", etc. We use the official titles, so this will not be changed.
Terra NovaFox is
currently listing Genesis as episode 1 and Instinct as episode 2 on their official episode guide. Fox is also
currently listing Occupation / Resistence as episode 11. Unless the Fox site itself lists different information about this series, we'll continue using this numbering scheme.
Tron: UprisingDisney is
currently listing Beck's Beginning as episode 0 and The Renegade (1) as episode 1 on their official video page. Unless the Disney site itself lists different information about this series, we'll continue using this numbering scheme. Also, there are press releases showing that it is infact, a prequel.

Beck's Beginning is not episode 1 of the series. The way it's indexed on tvDB (as a special) is correct. The fact other sites show it as episode 1 is a mistake. I've argued with hikaricore plenty, but he's right on this one.
A few helpful press releases
http://www.disneyxdmedianet.com/assets/ ... 50412.html Disney press release referring to it as a prelude.
http://www.disneyxdmedianet.com/assets/ ... aunch.html Disney press release referring to it as a prelude again, and to the Renegade as the series premiere.
http://www.disneyxdmedianet.com/assets/ ... 48013.html Yet another Disney press release referring to the Renegade as the premiere.
Beck's Beginning is a special, not episode 1.
