Hi, I was a little sad when I saw my Banner had been "stolen" by Imzadi witch made this Poster http://www.thetvdb.com/banners/posters/164091-8.jpg compared to my Season banner http://www.thetvdb.com/banners/seasons/164091-1-6.jpg

OK, so the original image was used, so I will only argue that it's everything but an unique Poster and most probably it's "my logo" re sized on that image, there are no other images that contains that Terra Nova logo.

Now, don't think this is a big deal as I did not spend lots of time doing this simple banner but its the principle. Nobody takes the rule that banners, fan art and so on should be unique. Imzadi being a moderator and all should enforce the rules right?

Most users just finds a image and slaps some logo on it. Sure that's exactly what I did with this banner cause most everybody else does it and I was tired. But in most other cases I try to do something unique. Yeah am no designer so they may not be that good. But at least I make an effort. Please let me know if you feel I've done just what I've said I don't like. And I will remake does banners, fan art images, thanks.

Are you serious? I didn't take anything from your poster except, that I liked the motive and decided to use my season template when the HQ Picture was available. So do you know what I did?

I took the logo from here: http://www.thetvdb.com/banners/fanart/o ... 091-10.jpg and uploaded it to fanart.tv: http://fanart.tv/shows/?id=164091 and made it available for everyone. And than I used it as a season banner and series poster: http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=seriesposters&id=164091.

So don't worry, I didn't take anything from you. It's nice that your try to "create something unique", but this makes me really angry, when I think how much time I spend to find, create and upload fanart.

Complaining? no am not. I was simply stating that the "rules" are not followed. Rules made by you guys, obviously I hit a nerve here.



I'm not worried nor am I angry. Nor am I complaining. Either somebody have a hard time understanding English or I express myself wrong. I do not criticize anybody. I'm simply telling most users just slap on a logo and be done with it. The reason I said, that you "stole" my whatever...was do the fact it's pretty much the same. I would not care if you took anything from a banner, poster i've made. As long as you/they do something different with it.

If it bothers you so much, change the topic to "unique banners & posters" as I can't change the topic. I agree due, the topic is misleading.

That would be you and the absurdity of this thread... We have enough to deal with here without people crying about similar artwork.
Unless you have something worthwhile to post here I recommend you just drop it and let us get back to shit that actually matters.

Yeah? what exactly have I've changed in my original post? I did a SPACE (ENTER) after the last URL. Maybe you finally read it all the way true & that's why you feel... BTW good job with the "title", also would you be so kind to tell me who wrote the rules?

You can feign ignorance all you like, it doesn't really matter to me. Your original post was a bit bitchier than the edited version and everyone who replied before you changed it probably knows what I'm talking about. None the less my point still stands. This is a non issue and a vast waste of time for the moderators having to respond to. Glad you like the title, no idea which rules you're talking about, get over this whole thing and we can all go on about our business.
