i would like to request that of a dump of the database be made available regularly

i would liketo have it stored locally so that i can access the data frequently rather than spamming tvdb with api requests which can be rather slow

Won't happen. We'll release a mySQL dump of the DB once maybe twice a year. That's as regular as it'll get. It's just a pain to have to clear out user data and post, also since we're moving away from mySQL altogether no time is going to spent trying to automate the process.
