I already came across one potential issue in general so maybe Szsori knows a good way to avoid this or a solution.

Xfactor is the example I found. I am guessing during the upload, the zap2it ID was added to the British version. The US version is as a result missing the ID#. S

It looks like the merge is doing this for any show where the basic version isn't the US version. The same thing happened with Hairy Bikers.

The same thing appears to be happening with the series with a year. For example Castle http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=82607&lid=7 has the series ID of Castle 2009 http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=83462&lid=7.

SUBJECT : Leading "SH" in search by zap2it IDs

According to the conversation on "missing zap2it ID's" [ viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7819 ] , all shows get assigned ID starting with SH and individual episodes get assigned IDs starting with EP. But I was browsing through the listings in zap2it.com and barely found any show IDs starting with SH.

While searching the shows by zap2it Ids on thetvdb.com [ http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=advancedsearch ] it doesn't let you search unless you specify an ID starting with SH.
F.e. The office has zap2it Id EP00726133, but searching by that Id gives me error
"Invalid zap2it.com ID.
Invalid number for fanart search"

Do we still need that limitation in thetvdb.com search to provide zap2it Ids with leading SH ?
Hope I didn't miss anything.
