I tried to add Hungarian overview in the series information. I chose "Magyar" language, used characters only from the latin-2 range (altough utf8 encoded, I think) and got the following message:
You attempted to enter an čeština overview into the Magyar overview field. Please pick the correct language and try again. If the language detected is wrong please come to the forums and let us know.
Series info saved.

Therefore I let you know about the issue.

Its an problem with the detection.

Its, detecting one or two words that are present in both languages.
Cut the Description in half and try saving each half, this will help determine what word is causing the problem.

The try adding the other half, it it fails, cut the second half into quarters, and so on till you find the problem word.
