This is what I'm getting on all requests to Updates.php in the API.

I'm pretty sure my scraper didn't exceed some limit, as I tested this from multiple IPs and still got the same message, even from those I never used my scraper on.

So what gives?

Should be fixed now. Let me know if there's still a problem.

I just got this in Google Chrome when I typed in "thetvdb.com", hit tab, and entered my search criteria. I would think searches submitted from a live web browser wouldn't cause this "logging your IP" feedback - is something messed up?

I did do three or four searches this morning from my machine using the API (via Subler, I guess) but I wouldn't think that would run me up against any kind of limit...

I was able to go directly to the www.thetvdb.com home page and enter my search there and get results, but I definitely prefer the shortcut of letting Chrome submit the search for me instead of having to load the whole homepage and click in the tiny little search box before I can submit my search. :)

Certain searches will trigger this message, what did you search for?

I'm receiving this message when I search for Bo Selecta in Firefox when going through either the search box in my browser, or manually through the website.

This is an unfortunate side effect of the current filtering on the search to avoid security issues, it detects the word 'select' and throws the error. This will be fixed on the new site (no ETA).

If you search for "Bo' Selec" rather than "Bo' Selecta!" it should show the results
