Reference a previous posting on this subject: TV Parental Guidelines Rating

I understand that the feature is Planned For The New Site, but I am getting rating info from the database queries already, but not consistently.

Is it possible to edit/add rating info (as in TV-G etc) to episodes currently ?

The rating is currently for the series as a whole. Is there many shows that change rating per episode? Seems unlikely.
Actually as I type that I guess for documentary series and dramas there could be a difference per episode.

I have seen a few shows that have variable ratings by episode, and your guess is on target. They have been of a documentary type of program -- the one I have seen is on Animal Planet.

I found the edit setting at the series level now that I know where to look.
