Image cache

Postby gabrielwalmeida » Sat Feb 11, 2017 6:47 pm

I've been researching the forums and I couldn't find an answer for how long does it take to the website cache to wear off. I have deleted an image for more than 72 hours now, and everytime I try to upload another image the cache still displays the old one, so I'm wondering how long will it take to be cleared out.

The website itself clears pretty much instantly, Cloudflare can take longer but usually clears within about 15 minutes although sometimes it takes a few hours. At the 72 hour mark it's likely your browsers cache that is causing you problems, those can cache images for months depending on your settings. Try doing a hard refresh to clear that (ctrl-r).

It's worth noting that it may be Ctrl-Shift-R in some browsers, and may even require a manual cache flush if none of those work.

I have made a hard refresh, and I've cleared my browser cache, and none of that worked, so how can I proceed?

How to get away with murder S03E12 and S03E15.
I asked my brother to upload the new photos using a different browser on a different machine but even so they didn't change.

I'm experiencing the same. I replaced all images of Criminal Minds' first season about a week ago, but some of them still show the old images. Different Browsers, different machines, mobile internet vs. my home wifi...
