I was reading through this old thread about image size standards for the new site: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1146&hilit=episode+thumbnail+size

I was about to start going through my collection and upgrading any episode thumbnails that need it. Is it official that the new site will allow 533x300 images for 16:9 episode thumbnails?

I'm just curious, because if 533x300 will be the standard for the new site, then I can just downscale my screenshots to that size now and hang onto them.

Not official until we take the new site live, but I don't have plans on using anything else as of right now. I'd say there's a 90+% chance that you're fine just going ahead with that size.

Ok, cool. Now that I think about it, I could just hang onto the 853x480 source images and batch resize them later when it's official, just to be safe.

Thanks for the input. I'm excited by the possibility of having larger 16:9 episode thumbnails.

Damn, I just deleted all my unscaled down screenshots. I thought I was wasting disk space

ive started making my own screenshots for my episode thumbnails as i prefer a higher quality image aswell. Good to know that you are changing the default thumbnail size to something bigger..
