Hi,

I'm trying to pin down images used for actors and what it means. As far as I can currently tell the site rules give the ROLE that the are playing, except not always. ie for Charisma Carpenter is Cordelia Chase,
/Angel/tvshow.nfo: <name>Charisma Carpenter</name>
/Angel/tvshow.nfo- <role>Cordelia Chase</role>
/Angel/tvshow.nfo- <thumb>W:\DriveS\Media\media\ActorThumbs\11\tv6311.jpg</thumb>

so either
thumbs == actor == publicity shot or
thumbs == role == character shot, and if role can there be season level character shots

eg.
.actors\charisma.carpenter.ps09342.jpg - Charisma's publicity shot (ie. the real actor thumb)
Angel\.actors\charisma.carpenter.tv23451.jpg - Charisma as Cordelia Chase main role character shot
Angel\Season 01\.actors\charisma.carpenter.tv34534.jpg Charisma as Cordelia Chase Season 1 character shot
Angel\Season 05\.actors\charisma.carpenter.s05e20.tv45355.jpg - Charisma as Cordelia Chase, guest star season 5 character shot, ie an episode specific shot , doesn't show up in season overview.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Are you just requesting that we add actor images at the season level?

Well yes possibly, and also guest star images per episode, but that was a side outcome of a not very well explained start. What I was trying to get at then deviated from was that some images are ROLES and not ACTORS which is correct, according to site rules. Except this means that they are not ACTOR images, they are ROLE images.

Where there are some duplicated ROLE images across SHOWS (bad), ACTORS across SHOWS (good - but bad, in they are not ROLE thumbs). In fact looking back I ended up broken posting as I managed to break the command line I was using to generate the demo image list.

I'll think about this further.
